How to Use the FCC ID to Detect the Original Laptop or NoteBook Manufacturer
The
FCC ID (usually
located on the backside of the case)
may be used, if you are having problems identifying the
original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of a laptop or notebook computer (or other electronic
device,) this site lets you search the FCC database based on the FCC ID
number you can usually find on the equipment if it was marketed in the
United States of America.
Often you can also find take apart pictures in the FCC database.
