How to Disassemble a Sony VAIO VGN-AR61ZU Laptop

How to disassemble (at least partially) a Sony VAIO VGN-AR61ZU laptop in order to replace the RAM, the optical drive and the hard disk drives.

The backside of the laptop not yet opened. All the screw holes are marked with an arrow.

Optical Drive - Blu Ray Disc (tm)

The three screws which fix the optical drive (Blu-Ray-Disc(tm)) are marked with an arrow and a dot.

  Optical drive, partly pulled out.

  Optical drive taken out completely.

Memory

Memory comparment, with opened lid, showing the two RAM slots.

Hard Disk Drives

Hard disk drive compartment opened. The two SATA HDDs are easily accessible.

The backside of one HDD in detail.

Notes

It is possible to upgrade both hard disk drives with HDDs of a higher capacity and 12.00mm height.

I have also tried to get access to the keyboard, but this doesn't seem easy, at least not at first glance. I guess you have to disassembly the notebook completely to replace the keyboard.
